1) How do I put my child in your agency?
Please read our parent enquiry form and print off the application form. To arrange a photoshoot and part pay towards the cost of the photographs please return the application form with a £50 deposit to the admin dept at the Head Office the address of which is on the home page. Kidz will send you an appointment letter with a time, date and the address of the studio where to take your child so that you and your child can attend the next photographic session in your area. Of course you are welcome to provide your own photographs which if suitable will be uploaded to the site at a cost of £50

2) Is there any way of working out a reputable model agency for children?
Any reputable agency should assist in licensing your children in accordance with The Children and Young Person Act 1963.The licence forms should be sent to the parent when accepted into an agency. This allows the parent, agency and Local Education Officers to know at all times when a child is working and the address of the work place. Kidz are also recommended by Alba Advisory Service (telephone: 0871 7177170).

3) What are the security devises in connection with the internet?
Kidz offers a very secure password protected showcase, therefore only vetted clients can actually look at your child's picture on the web site although no details other than photographs and first name are given. This is a very unique and necessary part of Kidz web site.

4) Am I guaranteed work (and what work) with yourselves and what happens after 1 year?
Kidz provide models for TV advertisements, book covers, internet and lots more but the final decision is always with the clients so there can never be any guarantee. Please remember that this industry has large numbers of actors out of work at any one time. We try to give parents good value photographs and an experience in a studio so that they are aware of what to do on their first assignment, but please do not expect too much. It is always best to expect only one or two assignments and not be disappointed rather than expect too much. Please rest assured that as long as your child is with our agency, no further renewal fees will be charged. We ask only that you keep your child's photograph updated every 4/5 months so that our clients always have the most recent images to choose from. After one year, contracts are extended by mutual agreement. We charge a nominal fee of approx £35 for update photographs to be taken and put on the web site.

5) What sort of children do you take on?
We take on only the best children which is determined by photogenic qualities, temperament and commitments of both children and parents, although social skills, hobbies and drama experience are also taken into account. We expect all efforts to be made to attend any castings or assignments when asked to do so.
